At this time the cause is unknown but data coming from the RVC is suggesting a potential link to certain hypoallergenic cat foods. There findings have narrowed down one manufacturer producing the following three brands:  AVA (Pets at Home), Applaws and a Sainsbury’s hypoallergenic product.

If you feed your cat any of these brands and are concerned for their health please contact us.  We may advise a precautionary veterinary examination and blood test.
