Could arthritis be stopping your cat from exploring how they used to?

Arthritis is a very common condition where one or more joints become painful; 3 out of every 5 cats over the age of 6 are affected. Cats are the masters of disguise and, despite their pain, can hide the signs of arthritis very well.
To help you identify whether your cat may have arthritis a 2½ minute video is available for you to watch. It shows what the subtle signs of arthritis are. Simply visit the Boehringer Ingelheim YouTube channel for free to watch it.

Watch this short video here.

If your cat looks similar to any of the cats in the video, it is time to take them to your vet for a check-up. They could have arthritis and may benefit from treatment......

Now is the time to take advantage of our 'Remember Remember Older Pets This November' event and book your pet in for a free check up. This includes free urine testing which can help flag up early signs of diseases often associated with the ageing pet.  Early detection is vital to keeping your pet healthy and in the longer term increase their life span with a good quality of life.
