Brexit 'no-deal' - changes to pet travel

  Back

26/11/2018
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) is advising members of the public that should the UK leave the EU without a deal, there would likely be important implications for pet owners wishing to travel overseas with their animals from 30th March 2019.
If you are planning to travel with your pet after 29th March 2019 please be advised that in the event of a no deal 'Brexit' you may need to take some additional steps to be able to travel with your pet to the EU.

Se strongly recommend you contact us at least 4 months in advance of your travel date.  Nothing has been finalised as yet but we encourage you to make contingency plans.

For further information visit the Pet Travel page on the DEFRA website, click here, ring us on 01376 325511 or email reception@millenniumvets.co.uk
