Client Testimonials

We have a 17 year old Devon Rex. He has had many health issues and complicated health difficulties going on for a couple of yrs. Laura Marshall has been his PA..... (sorry, vet! cat talk!), for a long time and has identified all his complicated health issues and found just the right medication for him! He is doing great. A brilliant vets. We have tried many but as fussy pet owners... Only perfect will do. Millennium have proven perfect!

Mrs Smith-Little

I have six Tonkinese cats and recently two of them, Ruby and Rioja have given me cause for concern. Annaliese has been treating both of them for Triaditis and urinary issues respectively and is without question the best vet I have ever known. She is friendly, approachable, brilliant with the cats and most importantly listens to the owner over and above what the ‘textbook’ says. She consistently goes above and beyond and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Always my first choice vet and the Tonks love her too! Thank you Annaliese and Millennium for everything you do.

Mrs Phillips

We arrived to Millennium Vet Braintree when looking for a veterinary with oncologist services within. Thank God it was nothing related to cancer, but we were glad and thankful to vet Stephan who found out what Chovy was suffering from. The care and service provided to our wonderful dog and the explanation given to us gave us the confidence need it for us to continue with the treatment at this vet. C. Roldan

We would just like to say a thank you for looking after our Labrador so well when she had to come in for a recent eye operation. As always we and our dog received the very best service from everyone at the practice. A special thank you to Stefaan for all his concern and professionalism. Valerie and Paul (and our Lab of course!)

V Kiddell

I cannot express in words how much Lindsey means to me, after a long day, her personal life hectic beyond belief, still had time to allow me to say good bye to a much loved pet. I have had a serious accident and cannot walk. For Lindsey it would have been simpler to put Dilly down to sleep. I will never be able to repay her for her outstanding professional caring generosity. A remarkable vet beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Totally outstanding thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sandra Blackwell

We would like to say thank you to absolutely everyone at the Millennium Vets Practice in Braintree; but in particular and especially Stefaan and his team - for the love, time, care, commitment, attention and medical assistance shown to our beautiful 'big fluffy bear' DUSTY. All of the staff here - from the reception desk to those working hard "behind the scenes" at this Veterinary Practice are absolutely phenomenal and have always given us nothing other than the best treatment, advice and reassurance on every occasion over the 15 years that we have had with our cat, who was our absolute world. He did have a few visits to the vets over the years what with one thing or another such as being hit and dragged by a car and having to have his leg drained and stitched; he was poorly with a kidney/bladder infection which they treated, not to mention other ailments like needing a cyst removed from just above his eye, de-clawing, de-matting because he was oh so fluffy; to name but a few. However, it is more the recent events since June this year that I wish to focus on, firstly when he was diagnosed with diabetes and needed insulin - which I administered twice a day to him - having been reassured after getting upset, that I would be brave and strong enough to do this at first, whilst being completely appraised of what we should expect to see as a result of this diagnosis, such as the increased to decreased thirst, walking on his back hocks instead of his paws which we didn't realise is a common symptom with diabetes, followed by a tumour which was discovered in his abdomen - (having taken him to the vets with what we would describe as appetite, toilet and thirst issues); and which was found to be impacting on his colon in July and needing chemo which Dusty responded amazingly well to initially but then unfortunately the following chemo did not work; and then finally and sadly kidney failure at the very end of August before falling asleep - which was extremely devastating. We always felt assured that our beautiful boy Dusty was always put first and we cannot fault them with anything. You are all truly an amazing team of people, and a real credit to yourselves, and your Practice as well as your customers. Be proud of what you do, and keep up the brilliant work because you really are first class carers and anyone with a pet would be at a loss without you. We are so lost at home without Dusty here with us and naturally heartbroken, but you helped to make the 15 years that we did have with him, possible. Thank you. At some point in the future, we may consider another kitten and we will definitely be customers of yours again - the team we can fully trust and depend on. Joanne & John

We have nothing but praise for all the vets and nurses we've seen over many years. Our 16 yr old Devon Rex is still going strong thanks to the dedication and passion of Laura Marshall Vet. He has a procedure booked for Tuesday - nervous, yes. Could he be in better hands.... No way. Thank you all for past and future care. We've moved vets numerous times but have found the best!

T Smith-little

Would like to send sincere thanks to vet Rebekah for the support and dedication in helping us look after our diabetic cat Simba. Also the nurses for their patience when clipping his claws.

C Hester

Puppy Preskool was good plus lots of information over the two sessions.  I would recommend this to give you valuable information on owning a puppy and helpful handouts to take away and read!

Paula Lewington with Ruby

We would really like to thank Robin Creighton and the team for looking after our elderly cat Oscar.  Robin has been amazing in that he has always returned our phone calls promptly, when we have had a problem with Oscar. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism and sterling work that you all do!

Mrs Geraldine Loveday and Oscar

My wife and I would like to say that we enjoyed the puppy Playskool as we got some helpful tips on training our young Reggie. Dot and the other veterinary nurse made the evening entertaining and very informative. We all three are looking forward to the next evening. We would also like to thank all the staff involved.

Sue & Keith Webb with Reggie

Welcoming, clean, friendly staff makes the visit pleasurable when pets are in need and owners are fearing the worst for their beloved pets.

Excellent, love millennium vets.

D Howard

Thanks for always being there for us whenever we've needed you. When we finally adopted another cat, there was never any doubt about which vets we would register him at. Keep up the excellent work.

Mrs Bettis with Porter

My dog ROCKY developed the Spanish disease Leishmaniasis. I cannot thank ROBIN enough for all his skill and effort in containing this nasty parasite. Rocky is certainly a lot better for his treatment. I was extremely worried that he might not make a good recovery. Robin pulled out all stops . The practice is first class, you feel very confident that your pet will get the best treatment possible.

E Connelly

Wouldn't ever use any other practice! Highly pleased with your service.

Puppy Playskool was really helpful and he (we!) loved the certificate and rosette! All the leaflets and information has been helpful too. Thank you.

Jo Holmes with Buddy

Wonderful, helpful and cheerful reception staff!

I was seen very quickly as it was an emergency appointment.  We were quickly seen by the vet after the nurse.

Tasha Lovegrove with Kodi Box

During your Puppy Playskool, I felt all my particular issues were covered - great fun!  Very informative, excellent value for money and listening to other people with the same problems helped.  I didn't feel I was the only one.  And low numbers of dogs meant more time for questions and answers.

Mrs Baker with Penny

Dear Lindsey and Team, Thank you so much for everything!  My leg is feeling so much better - I'm very happy without the cone on my head and I'm enjoying my woodland walks once again.  Thank you for your care!

Honey and Family!

When your pet is ill you need kind support and that is what we always get. Our cat recently had urinary trouble and he was diagnosed quickly and efficiently. We needed a form to be filled to help us to claim on our pet insurance. It was returned to me the next day. We popped in this afternoon to pick up some food for our cat, all at reception showed professional care. We are grateful to all of you what you do and the way you do it.

Mr R Sweetman

Puppy Playskool was very informative and gave me an opportunity to discuss issues with the nurses and other puppy owners.  I have definitely learnt new things and can see a change in my puppy since going!  The puppy graduate rosette was a lovely touch too!

Kerry with Teddy

We enjoyed puppy playskool - you get to meet people going through the same but sometimes feel that puppy isn't doing as well as others. Do more of them please!

Ms Schonenberger with Ringo

I have always received excellent service from your veterinary staff, which is why I now still travel 10 miles to you.

Mrs Steven and Nell

So far I have received very good service from friendly staff, very helpful.

I cannot fault the service from the vets, especially Stefaan, who was absolutely brilliant with my last dog Benji who had lymphoma. The practice is a credit.

Mrs Connelly with Rocky

Given that we are soon to start Rabbit Awareness month, I would like to send a huge 'thank you' to you all, from my 3 lovely buns, Percy, Bandit and most recently Billy, for helping to keep them happy and healthy over the last few years! Xxx

Ann Griffiths and bunnies

We just wanted to write and thank you very much for the care you and your team gave to our dear Phoebe in her final months and in particular the sensitive and caring way you all dealt with her on her final visit.  It is of course the most horrible of times and always happens far too soon, but we have to say that having lost dogs in the past, the experience with Phoebe was by far the most dignified, supportive and sensitive we have had.  Thank you all very much.  We didn't get the name of the lovely receptionist who saw us in and gave us a seat and water, but please say a special thanks to her on our behalf.  We are at peace knowing that Phoebe didn't suffer but of course there is a huge hole in our hearts and home.  She will always be with us for course, as they all are. Best wishes.

Jane and Adrian Gibson

A lovely friendly welcoming practice, clean and pleasant surroundings, very helpful and supportive.  High level of knowledge and expertise.  I am reassured my dog is registered with MVP.

Miss Spalding with Ralph

Thank so much to the vet and nurse that came out to Panfield to put my mother's dog to sleep they were so caring and professional

Paul Pilgrim

Your practice is brilliant.  Staff are wonderful and couldn't be more happy and helpful.

Julie Owen with Jack

Thank you for being cat friendly.

I recently lost my dog Benji. He developed lymphoma last year.  I cannot thank Stefaan enough for the kind treatment he gave to him in trying to save him . He is an amazing Vet. Also I have to thank Robin for finding the cancer in the first place. His early diagnosis gave my dog a fighting chance. The Practice is absolutely FIRST CLASS.

E Connelly

Took my elderly dog for a check up today...the vet Robin Creighton was brilliant.... he listened to me... check my dog thoroughly and made some suggestions... no judgements on my thoughts about care and I was made to feel my opinions were valued.... I left very reassured. The receptionists were pleasant and helpful... makes it so much easier when you know people care about animals as much as you do.

Miss Johnson with Molly

We had to have our old cat put to sleep this morning. Everyone at the practice was so very kind and thoughtful. Thank you for being so kind at a very difficult time.

L Casey

I am writing to thank you for allowing Haley to visit our Foundation Stage classes last week. The children absolutely loved having the hands on experience and they also learnt a great deal about caring for animals and how to stay safe with dogs. It was great for the staff to see shy and nervous children be brave enough to stroke her dog 'AJ' and the tortoise (many have never seen one of these!). Please thank Haley for sharing her knowledge with the children.

Mrs Kate Yates, Foundation Stage Leader, John Ray Infant School

Millennium Vets were recommended by someone on the German Shepherd Rescue Elite Facebook Page.  My German Shepherd had become scared of the vet as my previous vet had no experience of large breed dogs.  Sadly, my dog fed off this.  We had a professional and through examination with vet Laura Marshall and my dog left feeling less scared of the vets and I left a happy owner.  The reception staff also made a great fuss of my dog and it made the experience really pleasant.  We hope to see you soon but just for a routine appointment!

Mrs Prendergast with Fred

Very helpful and friendly place - I cannot thank the vets enough for what they have done to get my injured chicken back to normal.

I was so impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of Steph and Becky.  So glad we came, it gave me confidence with Charlie and using your vet practice.

Charlie and his owner, puppy playskool graduate

My dog has just had a cruciate ligament op and I found the surgeon and all the staff to be extremely competent and professional. Millennium practice was recommended to me and I can see why. They are fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. Very nice people.

Miss Jater, orthopaedic referral from Grays

I have a Jack Russell, Bobbi, who is 16 and I was very worried about her. Robin was very helpful and put my mind at rest. Thanks for your help and i feel so much more at ease.

Mr Keeling with Bobbi

On behalf of Alec Hunter Academy, I would like to thank you for your generous sponsorship which helped towards a very successful Presentation Evening for our ex-Year 11 students.  We certainly enjoyed welcoming back this cohort, to share their success with them and to hear about their future aspirations.

Mrs Wright, Executive Assistant to Leadership Group

Our German Pointer was seen as an emergency after what seemed to be a form of fit.   The vet was very helpful initially on the telephone and then gave me a prompt appointment.  Friendly and helpful service.

Ann Kisberg and pets

To the excellent vets and nurses at Millennium.  Thank you all very much for your care and advice and for taking such good care of George.  You all do such an important job and we really appreciate it.  Thanks also to the ladies on reception who are always so welcoming and helpful.

Winnington Family

I am very pleased with the service provided at my first visit to the vets.  The staff were very helpful and go the extra mile and its nice to see a separate waiting area for cats.

Hannah Rose with Buttons

We would like to thank you for your compassion and professionalism you showed us yesterday when we had to say goodbye to our dog Harper.  A special thank you to Stefaan and also the lovely receptionist who took our phone call, which was very hard to do.

Mrs McKinley

Just to say thank you for looking after Tula so when with her recent speying.  This was our first visit to Millennium, having just changed over vets,  and I was so impressed with the whole team - reception, vet nurses etc.. A special thanks to Anna - who I didn't meet but I understand carried out the procedure .  An extremely 'neat job' - Tula hardly even tried to lick the site and it all healed up beautifully.  (My only problem was keeping her contained and 'quiet' fir 10 days - but wish we could recover from ops that quickly!!). Thanks again.

Jane Gibson with Tula

You all have been so helpful and understanding at a tie that was very stressful for me and my husband.  We really appreciate it.

The Gambrills with Jet

To everyone at the surgery - thank you very much for looking after Hudson when he had his surgery.

Alison, Teri and Hudson

To Robin and Staff. Thank you for letting me bring Biscuit along for his VHD2 injection, very much appreciated.  I was very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff.

Sandra Herniman and Biscuit

To Lindsey and all staff.  Thank you so much for everything you have done and continue to do for Kizi.  Fingers Crossed she will make a full recovery.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Dixons with Kizi

Thank you for taking such good care of Flint last Saturday.  He seems absolutely fine since having the barley spikes removed from his ear.  We had just walked through a field of barley when he started shaking his head.

Teresa Downs with Flint

Dear Annette and all the nurses!  Thank you for making me well again, my 'staff' are delighted!

From Rupert the Dog!

Just a little thank you ... thank you very much for the wonderful treatment and care given to our dog Rolo.  Best wishes to all the staff.

Liam and Susan Holden with Rolo

Dear Annette, Thank you for going above and beyond in your care for Millie.

Alison and Paul Grayson with Millie

We just wanted to say thank you to David Garrett, for making the emergency appointment at Cambridge Hospital for Harvey.  Harvey is miraculously recovering very well and its so good to have him home.  With many thanks.

Maisie and Dave Franklin with Harvey

Dear Robin, We can't thank you enough for saving our lovely Ruby.  She is finally, really on the mend and wolfing her food again!  We really appreciate all of your time, concern and attention.  We know she couldn't possibly have been given better care.  Very many thanks.

Burton Family with Ruby

Thank you Annette for treating the badger we brought to you.  The total degloving wound on his jaw healed very nicely after your difficult surgery. Once we felt she was ready, we released her - on a beautiful evening close to where she was found.  The lady and little girl who found her and phoned our hotline were present to see her go.  The lady described it as a 'magical evening'.

North East Essex Badger Group

Thank you so much for a lovely open day last weekend.  Such a warm friendly atmosphere, lots going on for us to see, and a prize in the raffle too! Keep up the good work and thank you all for being there for us and our pets.  Its 40 years we have been clients so we wish you all many more years of 'Paws and Claws through your doors'!

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks for the wonderful warm welcome that you gave to Sue and I and also Paul Farrow (standing in for Tony and Lesley), on the occasion of 50 years of 'The Practice'.  It gave me an immense amount of pleasure and pride to see what Tony and I started all those years ago, had developed into such a caring, progressive and flourishing practice.  Tony and I were very very privileged and so fortunate to have been associated with such wonderful colleagues, nurses, secretaries, receptionists and all.  With kind regards and best wishes.

Spencer and Sue Bayer

Thank you for donating a prize to be used at our Terling Primary School Summer Fete.  The money raised at the school fete plays an important role in the funding of the school.  We will use the money to update the school library, which will benefit all the children and is greatly appreciated.

Mrs Smart, Head Teacher & Mrs Meares PTA

I would like to say what a great vet Stefaan is - kind, considerate and caring, nothing is too much trouble for him.  He has been wonderful with my cat Thomas who has tummy trouble. We just want to thank him for all he has done, we could not wish for a better vet.

Judy Bynoth with Thomas

Thanks to all the staff from looking after me and making me better.

Eric the Dog!

Thank you so much for visiting us.  We all learned a lot from your assembly and we loved meeting AJ and Rainbow.

Wethersfield CofE Primary staff & pupils

My wife and I realise how fortunate we have been to have had a wonderful First Class veterinary service over the last 53 years, from all your practices in looking after some very important members of our family - our dogs. Going as far back as our first Poodle, registered with Tony Farrow and Spencer Bayer, you have looked after our own six dogs plus our parents three.   During that time we have got to know the likes of Jenny Poulton (who also use to groom some of our dogs) and of course Gary Rutland, also a very professional and caring individual. We are sure that it has been the caring nature of individual Directors and Staff like them which has given us the confidence and security to remain with and follow them through the practice changes.   Congratulations to you all in helping your practice achieve that milestone - 50th ANNIVERSARY and may the practice continue onto the next milestone in providing our best friends with the care and attention they deserve.

Mr and Mrs S

Dear Dot and Annette, Many thanks to you both for running a stall at the Year 5 Careers Fair last week.  The children all got such a lot out of the event and were very excited when talking about meeting you afterwards.  The Careers Fair depends on the exhibitors who give up their time so generously and we are truly grateful to you both for doing this.

Heather Read, Careers Fair Organiser, Rodings Primary School (HRS Cluster Schools)

First visit - impressed!

Jill Daniels and Merlin

We saw nurse Laura who was brilliant, very friendly and helpful.  Your two receptionists that day were very welcoming and friendly.  I haven't been at your surgery since my last dog passed away in 1994, but it's your commitment that made me return with my new puppy Sally.

Karen Durham-Watsham and Sally

We were very kindly visited by two of your vet nurses today at Silver End School, and I would like to extend my thanks to them for coming along with Rainbow and AJ and spending so much time with each class. It really was very useful for the children to experience dog safety first-hand.

Victoria Gooding, Head of School, Silver End Primary School

We have used Millennium Vets for both our dogs and they where very good when we had to have Bruce put to sleep, and now with Bobby.  I wouldn't use any other vets, they're great and give great advise.

Mrs Hafez with Bobby

A huge thank you to Haley and Millennium Vets for coming to visit us last week.  The children really enjoyed seeing the animals and finding out about how to look after them.  All of us appreciate the time you gave to us as it makes the learning real for the children.

The Foundation Stage Team, John Ray School

All staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome, I really do like your vets and I would recommend you.

Miss Butt and Minstrel

All the staff are extremely caring, helpful and friendly. Excellent service!

Mrs Rees

Your puppy playskool was a great experience for us.  Our puppy and I would definitely recommend it to other new owners.  The 2 veterinary nurses were great.

Thank you one and all, at Millennium Veterinary Practice here in Braintree, for the kindness shown and give to Nellie our giant schnauzer who was recently rushed into your practice with a badly cut leg.  The efficiency and expertise of David Garrett, Paul Freeman , Robin Creighton and many others has been very much appreciated.  Thank you all once again.

Mrs Wilding and Mrs Jarvis with Nellie

Panda, my young Australian Shepherd (and the dog that I plan to compete with in Agility) injured herself on a walk and was very lame and in pain.  After seeing Lindsey Nice and getting x-rays done, it turned out that Panda had managed to damage her leg and her knee cap was popping in and out (diagnosed as luxating patella). She had also damaged her achilles tendon. All of this was a major blow in terms of my lovely young (and immensely energetic!) dog being injured and having to go through an operation followed by a long period of rest but also what did this mean for my competitive plans?  Whether or not she would do agility again was in question.  I was pretty devastated.  Lindsey performed the operation and has been there for me all the way through this process, giving me sound sensible advice managing my expectations but without dashing my hopes of Panda still being able to train and compete in the future.  The operation has gone well and Panda was officially signed off. There is a long way to go yet in terms of building Panda back up and I am not going to rush things but I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky to be a client of Millennium Vets - Lindsey has made herself available at all time to look after Panda (and me!) which gave us total consistency and faith in the process.  Thanks so much to Lindsey and thanks to all the Millennium nurses and reception ladies - brilliant, knowledgeable, supportive, understanding ... what more would you want from your vet surgery!

Kerry Eves with Panda

Dear Stefaan and your team, We wanted to thank you all for your help and support this years with our little Leo. He has been through so much and struggled with his illness and other mishaps! Your kindness and your care has got us all through the ups and downs.

Miss Brown with cat Leo

Thank you for your sympathy card on the loss of our dear cat Chi Chi and for being her vet for 19 years. This is greatly appreciated considering we lost our Jack Russell Sam also 19 years just 8 weeks before that and you had also looked after him for those years. You are wonderful vets and it is such a pleasure and comfort to deal with you. bless you all! The Martin Family

Thank you Stefaan and Lindsey for recommending laser therapy for Sammy. And to the nurses who have been involved.  At 13 years old our Lab x has been on medication for arthritis and general wear and tear of joints/spine for a long time. His laser treatments have made such a difference, its unbelievable! He is so much happier, a lot less stiff, wanting to play more and eager to go for walks again. You even said we can review the medication he is on which is great.   We would highly recommend people to give it a try. It's worked for our Sammy.

E Read with Sammy

Excellent idea to have a puppy playschool.   Everyone was friendly and approachable to answer any questions we had - and getting pup ready to go on-wards to other training classes.

Excellent vets - made me feel very welcome and reassured that my dog is important and would be well cared for.

Sue Mead and Finley

I love being part of this vets with animals, my late dog Bailey and my rabbit Diesel.  They have been sooo supportive and I will be back with my new puppy one day.

T Szulczewski with Diesel

Since Stefaan operated on Alice, using a laser on her ears, she is a different little cat.  She is bright and open eyed, running around causing mischief and generally acting like a kitten.  A huge Thank You to Stefaan. I am making sure her ears are clean too and there seems no indication of any polyp returning.  We had forgotten she could miaow as Alice was always quiet and with hindsight, in pain.  No longer - we have unleashed a feline monster who lets us know she is there and once again has become a lap cat.

Mrs Sexton with Alice

Dear Gary, I just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I had a problem with my cat Portia waking me up every night to be stroked. After talking to you I learned a lot and I now understand that cats grieve the same as humans. We sadly lost one of our cats last year. You had many suggestions for me to try. After carrying out all of your suggestions Portia now sleeps in her bed every night. She is slowly getting used to our new kittens. I think that they will be good for her. Once again I am very grateful.

Mrs Crow with Portia

Dear Lindsey, Sorry it's taken so long but I would like to say a very very big thank you to yourself and everyone else who was involved in the care and treatment of my beautiful cat, Lemon.   His leg is better now and he is as active as he was before it broke.   He does miss going outside now, but I do beleive he understands why he can't!   If lemon could talk he too would say how very grateful he is for all the care and attention you gave him,   I wish you all a happy and peacefgul new year and, once agian, THANK YOU all so much!

Mrs Bayes with Lemon

Paul, we just wanted to say how much we appreciate everything you and all the Millennium practice team for everything you have done for our puppy Sasha. She is making good progress and as always is happy and full of beans. Thankyou again.

Mick and Barbara Ellis

To stefaan + Millennium veterinary staff. Thankyou for your treatment and caring for the late Rajah, it was greatly appreciated.

the Eaglestone family

Thankyou so much for all your help with Ebony, she means the world to me. So just to say a big thankyou for all your hard work and getting her better.

Thank you Gary, for having me for my work experience. It helped me realise this is what I want to do in the future and I am now determined to make this happen. Please could you pass on my thanks to everyone I worked with as they taught me many new skills.

Jess, work experience student

Dear all, just wanted to say a big thankyou to everyone involved in the care of Merlin recently when he had ten teeth out. He is a huge coward which doesn't make life any easier and of course he is the most precious boy in the world to me. Everyone we have dealt with has been wonderful, understanding, kind and friendly and compassionate. Thank you all.

Cheryl Nolan with Merlin and Widget

To Laura and the fantastic team who took care of Babe when she needed a C-section. With many thanks

Emonn and Julia Howard and Babe

I cannot thank Robin enough for all the care shown to my dog Benji, especially when his leg and foot was extremely bad.The practice is very professional and highly recommended.

Mrs Connelly with Benji

I felt totally supported when I brought my cat in. Robin was onsite, this was 7pm on the Saturday and my cat was run over. He explained everything and took immediate action. I think DC was very well looked after even though he was not even registered at the vets. Your receptionist Liz was the one that took over at the scene of the accident. As I did not know what to do and she was really helpful and we came to your surgery.

Gerry Amruth with DC and AC

Thank you so much to Gemma Ellse for making Astra the Airedale so relaxed, comfortable and stress free at the end. Coming outside onto the grass and into the sunshine to put her to sleep was a lovely peaceful ending. I can't thank her enough, and the nurse who was there too. Although a very sad thing to do it was done professionally but with feeling and compassion. Thank you.

C Dry

A big thank you to Louise Shaw for helping us and Rolo!

Martyn Lucas and Rolo

I bought my puppy to you on a friends recommendation and glad I did. This is the first ever puppy I have had and was very nervous about doing the right thing. The vet I saw was lovely, she was very kind and answered all my questions putting my mind at rest. I spoke to Laura the nurse. She was also very sweet and kind and excellent at answering the questions about her behaviour and how to deal with the everyday experience of bringing up a puppy. I didn't realise that having a new puppy was going to be so hard but we are doing well with the advise we were given. Thank you

Mrs Green and Effie, the pug puppy

After registering with Millennium, which was very friendly and efficient, I was please with the service we received. The reception team is warm and friendly and the veterinary staff excellent, explaining everything to me. Millie and Maggie were not scared when visiting the vet and came out with tails wagging. Thank you Millennium and keep up the good work.

Paul Joseph with Millie and Maggie

Dear Gary and all at Millennium, Thank you very much for the recent fundraising evening you held on behalf of Colne Valley Cats Protection. Thank you also for the 'staff room tuck shop' profits, that was a lovely surprise! So between the two funds raised the grand total was £387.58. We are always so grateful for all the help and advice and support you give us and our cats. On behalf of Colne Valley Cats Protection, thank you so much. With our kindest regards.

Claire Hyde, Colne Valley Cats Protection Treasurer

This is sent to say a big thank you to Robin for his sensitivity and patience when he recently treated both my dogs Calzy and Jake. He made a difficult time bearable.

Carole Vaughan

I wanted to say thank you for the care & support you recently gave us & Barney. Thank you especially to Lindsey for being his ‘Go to vet’ for blood tests and regular visits over the years and to Gemma who treated him in the last few days. I really appreciated the care she took examining and caring for him and whilst he was in Braintree - keeping in contact when she said she would. She showed real empathy when we had to make the very difficult decision. Also to the receptionist who managed to decipher what I was trying to say whilst I was really upset on the phone! Finally to Charlotte & Annette who came out on Valentines night to put him to sleep in his own bed and never rushed us, explained everything throughout and acted so quietly and calmly which was so important for Barney. I'm sure you all deal with this daily but we don't & we appreciated your professionalism & tact. He now rests in our garden under a lilac bush where he used to lie in wait for butterflies.

Miss K Middleton

We are new clients and are very impressed by the professionalism of your service - both the information sent to us, and the appointment at the Coggeshall surgery.

Ms Robson and Pasha

To Tina and all the staff, We wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help and kindness and for looking after Beau so well. Would definately recommend you to all pet owners! Enjoy the chocolates!

Kelly and Steve

Thank you so much for everything all of you have done for Heidi. We really appreciate it, she couldn't have been in better hands.

Dear Tina, Charlotte, Emma and all the nurses, Thank you for taking such good care of our cat Winnie. It's great to have her well and at home, many thanks.

Debbie, Kevin, Izzy Goodwin plus Tigger (Winnies brother!)

Thank you for your care, support and treatment of Smudge. With grateful thanks.

The Culpins and Smudge

We wanted to write to let you know how much we appreciate the care our dog received by the vets and nurses over the last 10 years we have been registered with your practice. We have lost our Border Collie Jack and he was put to sleep. We were so impressed by Louise Shaw the vet who carried out the euthanasia of Jack. She is a lovely young vet who showed such a professional and caring manner. We also appreciate very much the time taken by Louise to write us a personal sympathy card which we will always treasure. We thank everyone at Millennium Vets.

Kin and David Chidgey

Very happy with overall appointments and staff.

Mrs Higgs with Luly and Ruby

I chose Millennium Vets due to the poultry expertise of Robin Creighton. A great service. Thank you to Annette Duffy and Robin Creighton. Robin has been very helpful and accessible. His expertise in poultry is a breath of fresh air! Hard to find at other veterinary practices. He has been very helpful indeed. Thank you!

Excellent first experience - feel we have definitely picked the right vets.

I was so impressed with the care and time spent with my dog. He was very nervous and on his first visit had to be sedated to be looked at. But on his second visit you allowed me to bring him in early to spend some time with him and make him calm, and it worked. So he was examined without being sedated. This really impressed me and feel I wouldn't have got this service anywhere else!

Your practice was personally recommended to me. Wonderful service, no improvements needed, thanks!

Dear Mr Garrett and the Millennium Nursing Team, We are writing to express our huge debt of gratitude for your recent care of our dog - Stanley. The care and attention shown towards Stan (and ourselves) has been second to none and with this care he is making a superb recovery. Words cannot express our thanks to you all as Stan means the world to us as a family. We would not hesitate to recommend you to everyone we know with pets.

Michael, Laura and Stanley Hurst

Service was brilliant! All staff were lovely and friendly. Also I wasn't expecting a welcome pack, was so pleased to get it though, nice surprise!

Kelly Laurence with Beau

I was very impressed by the treatment Merlin received, and just sorry you are so far away. I would have liked you to be by permanent vets.

Veronica Simmons with Merlin

I was referred by Mulberry Vets, Sudbury and I have been extremely happy. All staff have been brilliant especially Paul Freeman, who consulted and carried out Max's operation. Reception was great , friendly and all the vets and nurses I saw were amazing. Appointment times perfect, very pleased.

Bianca Burman with Max

Paul Freeman was fantastic, explained everything in detail and was very helpful. He put our mind at ease as we were worrying about about our 11 month old puppy who was having seizures. Excellent consultation.

Joginder Kumar with Tyson

Nice to see a cat friendly waiting area. I was delayed en route to the appointment and the reception staff were very helpful rearranging the times for me. Great stuff!

Collette Gibson with Amy

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Angela Stapleton with Jessie

Everything was perfect - plus big thank you to the Millennium as my pet is so much better.

I have only needed to visit once so far, however I would like to say that all the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Mrs Playle with Daphne

I have been going to Millennium Veterinary Practice since 2007. From the first time I got my puppy, they were fantastic, puppy classes were the best thing for myself and my dog, When at 8 months old, My West highland White Terrier Micky became unwell, I couldn't have asked for better care, the technology was amazing, Everyone the Vets and Nurses were so kind, a very dedicated practice and one I am very glad to be with.

Housden family and Micky

The Millennium Veterinary Practice is a outstanding surgery with professional and friendly staff. Following our cat's accident and subsequent operation, the surgery kept us informed at every step and put our minds at ease. I would definitely recommend the Millennium Veterinary Practice to everyone!

Our twelve year old ginger tom cat Wurley went missing 21st August in Witham. Even though we do not use your practice we were advised to place the information on your web page which we did. Wurley was returned to us safe yesterday a little thin and bedraggled - thank you for the service and all the assistance in helping him return home.

Debra & Peter Howlett-Morley

Your vet Lindsey Nice was very thorough and friendly which was reassuring and important for our dog Kelly. I would recommend you to our friends.

Mr Pingram with Kelly

My cat loved your cat waiting area! It let me get away from the dogs that were there. The vet was VERY sympathetic to him, as he's a rescue and not confident with people he doesn't know. She put him completely at ease and made the process very easy.

My sister recommended your practice to me. I felt very confident with the nurse and the vet. They made me feel really relaxed and explained everything to me, thank you.

Mrs Mills and Honey

I would definately recommend you to friends. There really isn't anything to improve - just wish you were nearer to us so we could always see you! We were both really impressed with the service we received and found all staff really caring with a love of animals, which sadly, some vets do not have. Paul Freeman, in particular, was extremely helpful and understanding despite me asking many questions because I was so worried about my little boy!!

Mrs Winter and Jess (orthopaedic referral from vets in Wickford)

The whole service made a very stressful situation much easier.

Sue Fry and Meg

Very, very happy with the service provided. All staff very helpful and friendly, they put our Yorkshire Terrier Lilly at ease.

Pauline Wigfall and Lilly

We have moved 5 times over the last few years. I have visited numerous vets. I can honestly say Millennium beats them all hands down. Staff, whether reception, practice nurse or vet, are all brilliant. Vet Nurse, Laura Baster has been especially patient and helpful with my hand rearing kittens. You are very reasonable with your charging. Another obvious point is how clean everywhere is. You have an excellent practice.

Tracey Hutch

Thank you for the extra time you gave us with Lomu. Words alone do not do justice for the amount of gratitude we feel. Those 3 months we were given, stretched to 17 extra months and they were wonderful, having him for every extra day made us blessed. Lomu was one of a kind - that special dog that comes your way 'once' in life. We were utterly honoured to have owned such a gentle giant. Thank you again and your staff. You are a lovely practice.

Trudi, John, Peter and Symore Bromley

I was with a different vet for 7 years who were not very approachable or friendly. I recently took a cat needing a home from them. I have now changed my dogs care to this practice, as this is the first time in 7 years that I have been treated with friendliness and respect from the whole team. My instant opinion of the surgerys professionalism is excellent. From the reception right through to the vet. Superb surgery.

All staff have been extremely kind and considerate. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending your services.

Mrs Hayden and Lily

Our miniature schnauzer, Ruby, was diagnosed with pyometra just prior to Christmas. Thanks to the efforts of both Stefan and Robin plus your surgical team she is now completely better- a 'new' dog in fact. Thank you, all, for being there for us during this worrying time - we really thought at one stage that we were about to lose her. It is during times like this that we really appreciate being associated with a first class veterinary practice.

Michael and June Collins

I would like to say a big thank you to your staff for the treatment that our Stanley received today from Julian and the nurse who attened Stan with him, thanks for putting our mind at rest. Paul Tina and Stanley Parker

Mr Parker

I love this vet surgery. They are kind and helpful when dealing with a range of problems. They have helped all my animals, and made me feel confident about my pets health and well being. Thanks very much!

My family and I would like to say a very big thank you to all your staff who have helped our beautiful springer spaniel puppy Cody who had a unfortunate start in his life. (I think you have seen him as much as we have, MVP has become his second home!) With your help and support we hope he will grow into a healthy dog and enjoy many years with us .Thank you so much for all you have done and are still doing to help Cody get through these difficult times.

We are currently in lincs and really miss the team in Braintree. We hope to move back and return to the practice we have used for 30 yrs. We remember Mr Garrett and also Robin Creighton for their excellent advice, care and attention.

June Brown

Could I take this opportunity to thank you so much for your kindness and sensitivity during the call out to our home when we sadly had our retriever Kaydee put to sleep. As you could see, this was extremely difficult for us as she was such a huge part of our lives and family. It was the hardest decision I have ever made, but your reassurance and calm manner was of much support.

Miss T Little

We would like to say a huge thank you to all your staff who helped us keep Kaydee in relative health during her ageing years.... A special thank you to Lindsey Nice who saw Kaydee regularly towards the end of her years – and who Kaydee particularly loved getting fussed by! I am happy that Oakley our pup and 2 cats Bean and Rafiki have a very special vet surgery and vets to see them when needed.

Miss T Little

We came to your surgery via a recommendation and I'm so glad we did. I'm sorry I cried all over you and thank you once again for being so caring.

Thank you for the care and compassion you gave our beautiful Buddy. She was so special and could not have been in better hands.

Mr and Mrs Goldsmith

I would like to express my sheer gratitude to each and every one of you for helping save my red and white Border Collie's life after he swallowed a piece of plastic. I still can't believe that a dog who has won so many prizes in obedience and agility could have been so stupid in the first place! Thank you again to all of you.

Linda Portch

Thank you very much for looking after me a few weeks ago, when I was stupid enough to eat something I should not have done! My humans were very worried about me for several days. I was fit enough to go to the show I was booked in for the following weekend, although apparently I let my humans down by only getting a “highly commended” - what more do they want?

Sasha the German Short-haired Pointer

Thank you so much for all your care of Sally after her road accident. I couldn't have wished for a swifter response, especially since her arrival was so unexpected. She's doing really well now and it's all thanks to you.

Claire Rooke

I wanted to thank you for your help and support with Bella's condition. Your assistance not only extended but improved the quality of her life, for which we are very grateful. Bella enjoyed seeing you very much and you should be applauded for your passion and dedication to the high level of service you provide.

Melissa Bell

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for everything you did to treat Archie for his recent illness. We know that you tried every course of action possible to reduce any pain and discomfort he might have had and to recover his health. Sadly, it was not to be. It is very difficult in times such as this to put our feelings into words but kindness, sensitivity and total care from you,Stefaan, Paul, Gary and his team supported by your Reception staff I hope will go some way towards expressing our thoughts. We will not forget.

June and David Woollcott

Very friendly and pleasant veterinary practice, well done! We hope to get a puppy later this year and would certainly come to yourselves

I recently moved to Braintree and was looking for a good vet for my female boxer. I Goggled your vets as I had seen the building in passing. I was pleased with the comments online so phoned for an appointment. I was extremely pleased to find that I could be seen the very same day for my dogs vaccination with no need to wait. There was no waiting time at all when I arrived for my appointment. I was seen straight away. Very happy with your service

I can't thank you enough for the prompt response and helpfulness of you staff
