Rebecca Munson

Insurance and Referral Administrator

I have been working at Millennium Veterinary Practice since 2007 as a nursing assistant, then I started my nursing training. Before I started working as a veterinary nurse I worked within a local boarding kennels as a kennel maid and also volunteered for the RSPCA. I attended Writtle College and studied for a National Diploma in Animal Management and achieved Triple Grade Distinction. I went on to complete my veterinary nurse training after 2 years of hard work and qualified in 2012 and remained on the RCVS VN register until 2018. I love working at Millennium Veterinary Practice as its safe to say everyday here is different.  In April 2014 I changed my role to work mainly in reception or in our communications room then in 2016 I became the practice's Insurance and Referral Administrator.  I manage and arrange referrals and also manage owners insurance claims and any queries they may have.

My main interest with my role is insurance, as every claim and query is different.  I enjoy providing a quick and smooth service to our own clients and those clients who have been referred to us by other practices.

Outside of work I spend all my time with my husband Ian and our daughter Mia, who loves muddy walks and visiting local farms.
