Firstly, we would like to thank you for your patience during this time. As many of your will be aware, we have had to reduce our normal service significantly and can only physically see urgent and emergency cases. We are also offering over the phone and video call consultations which have proved invaluable. Medication and food can still be ordered in the normal way, but we ask for 4 days’ notice as our wholesaler deliveries have been reduced. We are happy to post out or deliver your orders. If you wish to pick them up in person, we have a designated collection area to ensure social distancing.
Vaccination and Treatment Reminders - what is happening?

Every month we send out various reminders to help you organise your pet’s routine healthcare and book up for their vaccinations, 6-month health checks, dental and weight check consultations. 

Specific advice has been issued by our professional bodies to ensure veterinary practices are complying with current government advice on social distancing. We are therefore unable to offer these appointments as we have been advised that these, including primary (puppy and kitten starter courses) and booster vaccinations, are not considered urgent. 

We have stopped all reminders for these consultations at this point. We fully appreciate that you will be concerned about your pet’s vaccination status lapsing and we will inform you when these restrictions are lifted. 

Continuing your pet's tick, flea and worm treatments - its still important!

We will continue to send you tick, flea and worm treatment reminders to help you manage your pet’s preventative healthcare at home. 

There have been no changes to our MVP Care Plans and even if your pet’s vaccination is due during this time, we will honour this when we are allowed to provide this service again. 

Protecting your pet against parasites remains a priority and we advice you continue to give this as usual, i.e. treatment every 4 weeks and additional wormer every 3 months.

Opening hours and 24hr emergency cover

Our opening hours have changed slightly – our staff are on duty between 8.30am – 7pm, 7 days a week. Outside of these hours our calls will be automatically diverted to Vets Now, emergency service in Witham.
