Opening Times
  • Tuesday 9am - 6.30pm
  • Thursday 9am - 1pm
  • Thursday 4.15pm - 7.15pm

Our Coggeshall branch is open for pre-booked vet consults on Tuesday and Thursdays.  We also offer nurse consults.  Please pop in and see our receptionists.  We have scales in our waiting room, a shop area, can provide flea, worming and tick medication for pets already registered and seen by us.  And of course you can pick up repeat prescriptions and food orders.   When ordering medication online, via email or speaking to a member of staff at Braintree please let us know if you would like it sent over so you can collect here at Coggeshall.

Where more involved treatment is required, such as any patient needing sedation, anaesthetics, operations and procedures, you will be directed to our large practice in Braintree.

As a helpful reminder this is what to expect at our branch and further advice:

  • Please come straight into our waiting room on arrival.  If our waiting room becomes busy we may ask you to wait outside / in your car temporarily.
  • All pets are seen by appointment only, but if you need to pop in for anything then please do so.  Due to staffing and the necessary equipment emergencies will be directed straight to Braintree
  • Appointments can be made via Petsapp or of course you can ring us.  Outside of our branch opening hours calls are diverted to Braintree - please let them know you would like an appointment at Coggeshall
  • New clients are welcome - pop in, ring us, message us on Petsapp, email us reception@millenniumvets.co.uk - whatever suits you!
  • We do not carry the same level of stock as our main site at Braintree.  So we can not guarantee we will have the products and medicines your pet might need, in stock - please just ask
  • Card payments are preferred wherever possible
  • Appointments book up fast - if you are unable to attend your appointment we would appreciate you letting us know so we can free up the appointment for another patient and of course we can reschedule your appointment at the same time

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Under our MVP Care Plan, first visit vaccinations, booster vaccinations and the mid-term 6 month health examination, can be booked with our vet at Coggeshall. For all routine MVP Care Plan needs, such as weigh-ins and nail clips, you will be offered an appointment with our consulting nurse
  • Our Coggeshall branch does not have the additional staff to help pets with extra handling needs.
  • If your pet usually requires a double appointment and/or extra help during their examination please remind us.  Where possible we can schedule our consult nurse to help the vet with your pet.  But where this isn't possible, we ask that you book your appointment at our Braintree practice.   This also applies if your pet needs a blood sample or for end of life appointments
  • House calls are dependent on staff availability, but please ask
  • If your pet has regular treatment, e.g. allergy vaccinations, arthritis or specific antibiotics, WE NEED YOU TO SPECIFY THIS WHEN MAKING YOUR APPOINTMENT to make sure the medication your pet specifically needs is ready for your appointment - we want to avoid you having a wasted journey, your time is valuable
