🐾 Pet Bravery Award: Drake’s Story 🐾

After retiring from his role as a Gundog in Scotland at the age of seven, he has spent his golden years enjoying a well-earned rest.

Just a few weeks ago, Drake suddenly became very unwell. He lost interest in walks, stopped eating, and could barely stand. After being admitted to Millennium Vets for three nights, Drake underwent a series of investigations and surgery, where it was discovered he had a ruptured cecum caused by a tumour.

Thanks to his incredible bravery and the dedication of our team, Drake pulled through. Within just a few days of returning home, his family began to see real signs of improvement — and now, just over three weeks later, he’s back to enjoying short, gentle walks and is very much feeling himself again.

We’re so proud of Drake for his courage and resilience throughout his recovery, and delighted to see him back home where he belongs — reunited with his best friend, Raven. 💙

“We are so thankful to the talented team at Millennium Vets — not only are they experts at what they do, but they also truly care for the animals they look after. Thank you for caring for our Drake so he could reunite with his brother Raven.”
