The launch of the @parvoalert is an initiative from Virbac to help vets warn owners of the dangers of CPV. It automatically provides practices in 'at-risk' areas with a 'Parvo-alert' Pack, containing a range of tools and support material to help them alert dog owners.
Simon Boulton MRCVS, Product Manager, explains: "Tackling CVP is made more difficult because little information is shared on the frequency and location of cases. It's heart-breaking for owners to see their pets suffer from a disease that could have been prevented. We hope @parvoalert will raise awareness of the fact that CPV continues to represent a significant threat to unvaccinated dogs.
