The RSPCA and Blue Cross jointly launched an XL bully neutering scheme in February. The scheme has been a huge success and has helped over 1,500 pets.

Due to the success of the scheme, the original budget of £150,000 was increased to £330,000 to keep helping owners with the neutering costs of their XL Bully dogs.
As there has been a significant uptake in the scheme this has now closed with immediate effect from today the 4 June 2024,all the available budget has been allocated.

NOTE: if you have a pending application, please submit your paperwork as soon as possible within the 4-week funding timeframe to ensure that the application is able to be processed.

The Veterinary Care Fund scheme (click here) to help pets and their owners who require support towards veterinary bills continues to be available to all pet owners.  This does not offer support for neutering fees for any species/breeds, but a contribution of up to £300 following successful application to the Blue Cross through your veterinary practice.

Our practice is registered with the Blue Cross to help facilitate applications, please contact us for further information.
