MVP INSURANCE POLICY UPDATE 2022
We have made a few changes to how we process your pet's insurance claims.
Due to an unprecedented number of outstanding insurance accounts, we are no longer able to offer direct claims - unless by prior arrangement / agreement with us and in line with our terms and conditions.
If you would like a direct claim to be considered we would need to process pre-authorisation from your insurance company prior to treatment. This process is not instant and can take 3-7 working days.
Not all insurance companies offer this service – please check your own individual policies for this information.
If a condition has previously been accepted this does not automatically mean new claims can be processed in the same way.
If pre-authorisation has been accepted any excess and co-payments must be made on the day of treatment or collection of ongoing medication. A completed claim form may be necessary, if your company is not set up for online claims.
Again, all insurance companies are different so please contact your insurance company and check their claims process.
We reserve the right to ask for a deposit to be paid, whilst the claim is being processed.
