Laura Marshall MRCVS

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007 and returned to Essex to work at Downes Veterinary Surgeons, in Leigh-on-Sea where I spent 8 years. I joined MVP in September 2015 and was made Head of Medicine in 2021.

I am interested in internal medicine and gained my BSAVA post-graduate certificate in small animal medicine and RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine in 2018. I particularly enjoy endocrinology, renal and gastrointestinal cases and have an interest in cytology .

I live in Chelmsford with my husband Ian, a local farm animal vet. We have a Labrador called Albie and a cat called Lily. When I'm not working, I enjoy yoga and stand-up paddleboarding.
