Steph Gowers RVN

I completed my training and entered the veterinary nursing register in 2013. I studied at Writtle College while working full time.   Prior to my full-time role which started in October 2010 I worked as a nursing assistant part-time, (since 2009). Before joining the practice, I was the head kennel maid at a boarding kennels for 3 ½ years.   In 2016 I was promoted to a Senior Nurse, then in 2017 Head of Department for General Nursing.

 I enjoy all aspects of nursing but am particularly interested in behaviour and rehabilitation.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time walking and working my Terrier cross that I took on from the practice. We train and compete in agility and are currently working our way up through the grades.
