He was a super patient, patient! A number of trips to the practice were needed as well as being hospitalised in our cat ward. We are happy to report he is doing very well at home with his family and was given an MVP Pet Bravery Award. His owner has mastered Badger's daily insulin injections and are really happy with his treatment and progress. Badger's owners wanted to share a few words.

Since being diagnosed with diabetes in February 2022 Badger has taken all the blood curve tests and insulin injections in his stride, I couldn't ask for a better companion. The care he has received at Millennium Vets has been exemplary and it is true what they say, the staff here do treat your pet like their own and it shows! I know Badger looked forward to going for his day visits and I think he has his own fan club haha. The staff have been brilliant training us to inject Badger, reassure us and answer any questions we had. Even going through the cat insurance via the Vets has been effortless.

Badger is just simply.... adorable. He has such a laid back and gentle nature and takes everything in his stride without any fuss and claws! He loves loves snuggles, tummy rubs and attention and when you're feeling down he knows how to cheer you up. Badger, despite his age, is young at heart! He loves to play in the snow and jump to catch snowflakes and as for a good rain storm he likes to go out, get utterly drenched, run in to be wrapped up in a towel and dried off with fuss, to run out again to get wet to come in for the same again haha. For me, I love Badgers child like inquisitiveness and new things he comes across or experiences, you can see him try and understand it....like soap bubbles down the sink, he loves to watch them then work out where they went.
