Lindsay Washbourne

Veterinary Receptionist

Experience
Before working at the Millennium Veterinary Practice I was a dealing clark for an international bank , working first in Bristol then in London. I had a 10 year break to have 2 children, working a little for Bocking School assisting a downs syndrome child during lunches , and listening to children read. I then started working for Moloneys Vets in Braintree as a receptionist in 1995 which became Millennium Vets when they merged with Garrett and Freeman vets in 2001.

Interests
I enjoy working on reception taking calls, booking appointments, assisting and advising our clients in whatever way I can.

Activities
I love gardening and tennis and I try to make it to Wimbledon every year!   Animals Play a large part in my life and not just at work . I share my home with 3 cats and my Border Collie " Summer". Being an owner myself helps me offer practical advice to others and  to empathise with their pet worries. My pets take up a lot of my free time but it is very rewarding.
