Experience
Joined Millennium Vets: 2014
Qualified as a Veterinary Nurse: 2018
Abi’s journey with Millennium Vets began in 2014, when she joined the team as a Nursing Assistant while studying Animal Management at Writtle College. Her passion for animal care quickly grew, and she began her veterinary nurse training the following year, qualifying as an RVN in 2018.
Eager to deepen her knowledge, Abi completed both the Diploma in Veterinary Nursing of Zoological Species and the Advanced Programme in Veterinary Nursing of Zoo Animals in 2021. These qualifications span a wide range of species – from reptiles and birds to amphibians, wildlife, and small mammals.
After a short time working elsewhere, Abi returned to Millennium and brings a strong focus on feline care along with her zoological expertise. Her dedication to helping cats, especially those who are unwell or require long-term care, is at the heart of her clinical work.
Abi is also a firm believer in continuous learning and loves sharing her knowledge with the team and clients alike.

Activities
I have had cats since I was 7 years old, they are a huge part of my life. I have two cats - both who were brought into the vets as strays, an ex-racing greyhound and a wonderful group of rats. I am a member of the National Fancy Rat Society and regularly show my boys in the East of England shows. I enjoy training them to do lots of cool tricks too! I also very much love my cars and motorsport.
