Registered Veterinary Nurse

Experience
Before joining Millennium, I worked as a groom on equine competition yards, where I developed a strong work ethic and a good understanding of animal care.
I then began my veterinary nursing journey as an apprentice at Millennium Veterinary Practice in 2021, employed as a student nurse. While studying at Writtle College, I worked closely with the team here, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of cases. In 2024, I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Interests
I work across all areas of the practice and have recently joined the CT nursing team, which I’m thoroughly enjoying. I take great satisfaction in all aspects of nursing, with a particular interest in diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.
Looking ahead, I hope to expand my role to include performing minor surgeries within my scope of practice.
Activities
Outside of work, I dedicate much of my time to exercising and caring for my horse, Chevalier (“Chivvy”), as well as our many other family pets. In my spare time I train and compete Chivvy in various equestrian disciplines and often ride out with my sisters and their ponies. Life’s never boring with a small mischievous gang of rescued and re-homed pets keeping me on my toes at home too.
I value quality time with family and friends, and I have a passion for both travelling and going to the gym.
