Experience
I first came to Millennium Vets in April 2022 for work experience. Since then, Millennium Vets has been my work placement throughout both my Animal Management and Veterinary Care Assistant college courses, up until July 2026. During this time, I have really enjoyed being part of the practice and gaining hands-on experience in a veterinary environment. My time here has helped me realise that veterinary nursing is the career I would like to pursue.
Interests
I am really looking forward to starting my veterinary nurse training and continuing to learn with the support of the practice. I particularly enjoy working with dogs, whether that is walking and feeding them or helping with their care and restraint for procedures. I am especially interested in the surgical side of nursing and am keen to learn more about working in theatre and anaesthesia.
Activities
Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball and going to the gym. I also have a Boxer called Cooper, who I love spending time with. I have a cat called Jasmine too, who was originally a stray at Millennium Vets, so she has a special connection to the practice. I really enjoy spending time with both of my pets and being around animals outside of work as well.
