Emma has over 20 years of experience in veterinary nursing and has been an integral part of our team since 2014. She qualified in 2006 after training with Medivet Veterinary Group and began her post-qualification career at the Goddard Veterinary Group’s 24-hour hospital in Wanstead. There, she completed an advanced anaesthesia course and became an assessor for student veterinary nurses.
In 2010, Emma moved into emergency and critical care with Vets Now in Witham, gaining extensive experience in ECC and working towards a certificate in this specialist field. In 2014, she joined Millennium Vets, seeking a better work-life balance away from night shifts, and quickly became a vital member of the clinical team. She was appointed Head Nurse in 2016.
Emma has a keen interest in emergency and critical care, anaesthesia, and theatre work. She is passionate about mentoring others, helping student nurses and colleagues develop their skills and confidence in practice.
As a qualified Mental Health First Aider, Emma also supports the wellbeing of our team, recognising the emotional demands of working in veterinary medicine.
