Experience
Shaun graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London in 2005. He began his career at a veterinary hospital in Northamptonshire, where he spent seven years and achieved the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. In 2012, he returned to London to work in a busy first opinion and referral hospital, focusing on orthopaedics, soft tissue, and spinal surgery.
Over the next 13 years, Shaun developed a special interest in ENT (ear, nose, and throat) procedures—particularly BOAS (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome) surgery—as well as Laparoscopic (Keyhole) Surgery His work also extended into advanced diagnostic imaging, including CT's, ultrasonography, and endoscopy.
Interests
Shaun enjoys all aspects of surgery but is particularly passionate about ENT procedures, BOAS surgery, and minimally invasive techniques. As the proud rescuer of two French Bulldogs—Gus and Ernie—Shaun has developed a deep understanding of brachycephalic breeds and is a dedicated advocate for improving their health and welfare. Activities
Away from the operating theatre, Shaun enjoys archery, swimming, travelling, and experimenting in the kitchen (with mixed results). Wherever he goes, Gus and Ernie are never far behind!
